Ingredients

    Chicken Broth, 4 cup (8 fl oz)
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    *Albertson's Green Split Peas, 1/4c (10 servings/bag), 1 serving
    *whole onion, raw (1 onion), .5 serving
    *4" STICK OF CELERY, 1 serving
    *John Morrell 96% Fat Free Diced Ham, 4 oz
    *Dash O' Flax Pre-Ground Golden Flax Seed, 1 tsp
    *Mrs Dash garlic & herb seasoning, 3 tsp
    *Fresh Garlic Minced, 1 tbsp
    *Carrots, shredded, raw (Dole), .5 cup

Directions

Take a large soup pot and fill with 4 cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of water.
Wash split peas and then add to pot,.
Now cut up your half of a onion and 1 celery stalk and add carrot shreds to pot .
Cook on med heat for about 1 hour and stir often.
Now add all spices and flax seed with diced ham to the soup and finish cooking for 1 hour.
When soup is tender and done place into blender or food processor and blend til creamy.


Serving Size: makes 8-10 servings about 1 cup each
