Number of Servings: 12


    * 8 cups Apples, peeled and coarsely chopped [About 1,000 grams peeled and chopped, or 9 medium apples whole.]
    * 2/3 cup Butter, salted
    * 2 1/2 cups Brown Sugar, lightly packed
    * 1/3 cup Flour, white (all-purpose)
    * 1/3 cup Flour, whole wheat
    * 1 1/3 cups Large Flake Rolled Oats (ideal for baking)
    * 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon, ground


1. Pre-heat oven to 375 F.
2. Grease (or spray with no-stick spray) a 9" x 13" baking dish.
3. Cream together the butter and the brown sugar, then stir in (until crumbly) a mixture of the flours, rolled oats, and cinnamon.
4. Arrange the chopped apples in the prepared baking dish, and sprinkle with the crumb topping mixture.
5. Bake in pre-heated 375 F oven for 40 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
6. Makes 12 servings (cut once down the middle, length-wise, and five times width-wise). Enjoy! :)
