    6 tsp margarine
    2 tbsp flour
    1.5 cups broccoli stalks, peeled and shredded
    1 cube bouillon (chicken or vegetable)
    2 tbsp Cheese Whiz or 1 cup cubed velvetta cheese
    3 cups water
    pepper to taste


melt margarine in a pot on low heat, add shredded broccoli. Whisk in Flour. add the water and bouillon. Simmer for approx 10 minutes. Add the cheese and stir until all the cheese is melted. Add pepper, and serve hot. (For a thicker soup you can substitute .5 cups of milk for the water) makes approx 4 - 3/4 cup servings.
