Ingredients

    1 pound fresh green beans, left whole or trimmed and cut into 2-3 inch length
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced, or to taste
    .25 cup plain or seasoned bread crumbs
    .25 teaspoon freshly ground black

Directions

serves 4-6
Steam beans until tender-crisp, about 10 minutes. set aside and keep warm.
In a large, deep skillet, heat oil over medium-low heat. Add garlic. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Do not let garlic brown. Stir in bread crumbs and pepper. Cook for 1 minute more. Add beans; stir to coat. Serve immediately.
