My Cuban De Lite! My Cuban De Lite!

Ingredients

    12 oz Diet Lemon Lime Soda
    A handful of Fresh Mint
    1 Lime
    3 oz Rum
    Crushed Ice

    Garnish: A sprig of mint leaves and/or a slice of lime.

Directions

Cut lime into slices. Save two thin slices for the garnish.

In a small pitcher, combine fresh mint leaves and fresh lime juice. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, smash the lime and mint leaves several times to release the oils from the mint.

Add more ice, pour in the rum and diet soda, and mix well.

Garnish with a mint sprig and/or a slice of lime.
