Ingredients

    1 pound dried split peas
    1 cup diced lean ham
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 tbls olive oil
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp ground black pepper
    1 tbs garlic powder
    6 cups water

Directions

rinse peas, saute onions, put all ingredients into a pressure cooker with 6 cups of water. close pressure cooker and cook on medium heat for 30 mins.
