Introduction

These are soooooooooooooo good! These are soooooooooooooo good!
Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. sea salt
    1 tbsp. real maple syrup (not that pancake syrup crap with the HFCS)
    1/4 c. ground flaxseed
    1 c. low fat or fat free buttermilk
    2 egg whites
    1 tbsp. unswtd applesauce
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 c. almond milk

Directions

1.) In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
2.) In another large bowl, combine all wet ingredients, except almond milk.
3.) Add wet mixture to dry. Mix until combined. The batter should be pretty thick.
4.) Add the almond milk to the mixture by the 1/2 cup.
5.) Drop batter onto sprayed griddle at 325 degrees by the 1/4 c.
6.) Cook roughly 1-2 minutes on each side.
7.) Enjoy!

Top with fresh berries or small amount of syrup. Calories not included for toppings.
