    1 cup buckwheat flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp kosher salt
    2 tsp baking powder
    3 ounces salted butter (cold and cut into small pieces)
    1/3 cup maple syrup
    2/3 fig jam
    1.5 tsp of vanilla
    1.5 tsp of cinnamon
    1 ounce of unsweetened applesauce
    1.25 cup skim milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients thing add butter mixing until incorporated, next add applesauce. Add the maple syrup, jam, and vanilla.

Use 1/4 measuring cup per muffin. Butter cooking spray muffin pan. The muffins should cook for 25-30 minutes depending on desired browning.
