    1 Can Chipotle Peppers
    Onion, whole Large
    Pork Shoulder - 5 to 7 pounds
    Brown Sugar 2tbsp
    Dr. Pepper 2 cups
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper


1. Cut the onion in quarters, separate the onion wedges and place in bottom of crockpot.

2. Generously salt and pepper the pork, then lay it on top of the onions, fat side up.

3. Crack open a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, then dump on top of the pork.

4. Pour 2 cups of Dr. Pepper into the pot.

5. Throw in a couple tablespoons of brown sugar.

6. Cover the pot and cook on low for a tleast 6 hours.

7. Take out the pork. Remove the fat. Shred the pork and put it back into the pot. Use in buns, or tortillas, or on bread.
