    1/3 cup
    brown rice, substituting instant is ok.
    2/3 cup
    1/2 cup
    onion, chopped
    garlic cloves, minced
    4 tsps
    olive oil
    4 ozs
    canned diced green chiles
    16 ozs
    refried beans
    16 ozs
    canned black beans, rinsed and drained
    3/4 cup
    1/2 tsp
    1 tsp
    chili powder
    1 tsp
    ground cumin
    flour tortillas, 10 inch


Preheat oven to 400 and line a cookie sheet with foil.
Cook brown rice in water as package directs to end up with 1 cup of rice.
In a large heavy pan, saute the chopped onion, garlic, in 2 teaspoons of olive oil until onion is soft.
Add the chopped chiles and cook until the liquid from the chiles is gone.
Turn off the heat and add the refried beans, black beans, salsa, and spices.
Place about 3/4 to 1 cup of filling on a tortilla, fold up the bottom, fold one side in, fold down the top, and fold in the other side.
Place on cookie sheet. seam side down, and brush with olive oil. Repeat for remaining tortillas and filling.
Bake 15 minutes.
