Introduction

This is a fresh, tasty low sodium answer to stir-fry! I love stir-fry but don't like the heavy sodium content of soy sauce and other typical stir-fry sauce ingredients. I hope you love this option! Add other vegetables for variety. I love Beef and Sugar Snap Peas too! This is a fresh, tasty low sodium answer to stir-fry! Ingredients

    1 dash Salt
    1 cup, chopped Broccoli, fresh
    0.25 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    3.50 oz Beef, tenderloin
0.50 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
    0.33 tbsp Corn Starch Tablespoon
    1 tsp Ginger Root
    1 tsp Garlic Minced
    1 tsp unpacked Brown Sugar

Tips

Adding vegetables to this dish only enhances it. So if you love red pepper, bokchoy, celery, more onion etc go ahead and add them. Just remember that the vegetables can be blanched or stir fried for desired doneness.

Directions

Slice room temperature beef in thin slices.
Marinate beef with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp each ginger root, and garlic and Kosher salt to taste.
Marinate few minutes.
Slice onion and fry in small fry pan until carmelized or tender. I do use a small dot of olive oil so it carmelizes.
Add beef to pan with onion on medium heat. When the beef is just about done, add one cup of fresh broccoli trimed and cut into bit sized peices.
Stir-fry for about 2 minutes until desired tenderness is achieved.
Add the rest of the garlic and ginger to pan to cook a bit.
Mix sauce ingredients, water, brown sugar, corn starch and a little salt to taste.
Deglaze bottom of pan with spatula with the sauce mix into the sauce and add the beef back. Cook to thicken sauce.
Serve immediately. Salt to taste.
Lovely.
