Ingredients

    Flour, white, 2 cup
    Granulated Sugar, .5 cup
    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed
    Butter, unsalted, .75 cup, melted and lightly browned
    Milk Chocolate Candy, 1 cup chips
    One egg and one egg yolk
    1 tbsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 cup pecans, toasted and ground
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 325░F (165░C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

2. Sift together the flour, ground pecans, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a medium bowl, cream together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar until well blended.

3. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended.

4. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon. Drop cookie dough by 2 tbsp. at a time.

5. Bake cooks for 15 min and then move to wire racks to cool.
