Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1egg well beaten
    1 cup buttermilk ( use slightly under 1 cup skim milk and add 1 tablespoon vinager let sit 5 minutes)
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 Tbsp sugar
    2 Tsbp canola oil

Directions

Mix all ingredients in a bowl or larger mixing cup with a pouring spout just until moisted. Heat non-stick pan. Pour small amount ( about 4 inch round) of batter into pan. Allow to cook until bubbles appear in middle then flip. Cook one more minute. Enjoy!
