Number of Servings: 12


    2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup almond butter
    2 cups overripe bananas, mashed (about 3)
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    1/4 cup non-fat milk


Preheat oven to 350░.
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In a medium sized bowl cream together brown sugar, butter, and almond butter. Add mashed bananas. Add almond extract and milk.
Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until just combined.
Spread batter into a loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.

Let cool before slicing.
