Ingredients

    650 grams extra lean ground beef
    398mL (14oz) can tomato sauce
    156mL (5.5oz) can tomato paste
    312mL (11oz) water
    1 cup chopped white onion
    1 cup chopped bell peppers
    2 tbsp chopped garlic
    250 grams grated mozzarella cheese
    250 grams grated cheddar cheese
    250 grams fat free cottage cheese
    0.25 cup grated parmesan cheese
    Basil
    Oregano
    Powdered Garlic

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Brown the ground beef taking care to drain the fat. Stir together tomato sauce, tomato paste, and water (about 2 small cans). Add onion, bell peppers, diced tomatoes and garlic.

Layer lasagna in this order:

- drizzle meat sauce liquid
- noodles
- meat sauce
- cottage cheese
- cheese
- noodles
- meat sauce
- cottage cheese
- cheese
- noodles
- drizzle of meat sauce
- sprinkle of cheese
- basil
- oregano
- garlic powder
- parmesan cheese

Pro Tip: While layering, keep in mind that there are two layers of the cheese and meat sauce, with a little of both left over for the very end. That means when you're filling the first two layers use just under half the meat sauce and just under half the cheese.
