It's skillet night and that means dinner's ready in minutes. Enjoy this beefy one with noodles and veggies too! It's skillet night and that means dinner's ready in minutes. Enjoy this beefy one with noodles and veggies too!
Number of Servings: 4

    • 1 pound beef top serloin
    • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 packages Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
    • 1/2 bag Birds Eye Asian Stir-Fry (9 1/2 cups)
    • 1 sauce pack from Stir-Fry bag
    • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

This recipe is brought to you by Betty Crocker.

  1. Remove fat from beef. Cut beef into thin strips. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef in oil 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown. Remove beef from skillet; keep warm.
  2. In same skillet heat new tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add 1/2 the bag of vegetables; cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occassionally.
  3. Add sauce to vegetables; cover and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occassionally.
  4. In saucepan, bring water to boil. Break noodles, still in long pieces, and add to boiling water. Boil until noodles are desired firmness then add seasoning packet from soup.
  5. Stir into vegetable skillet the beef and soup. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until hot.

Success:You will find the beef easier to cut if it's partially frozen; about 30 minutes in the freezer should do.

This was easy to make and quite tasty, but I fear the recipe has a few errors. I think two servings of ramen are meant instead of two packages. I drained the ramen and added its seasoning packet to the wok. Otherwise the end result would have been quite soupy. - 4/23/20

This was really simple to make and delcious. Serving sizes are nice and large, very filling. Small meat slices work best. Fat can be cut by not using oil when preparing, I didn't really see the need for it. - 12/29/07
