    1 #10 can whole tomatoes ( 6 Lbs. 6 oz. size)
    1lb lean ground beef
    1lb chopped stewing beef
    1 green bell pepper chopped
    1 orange bell pepper chopped
    1 yellow bell pepper chopped
    1 large onion chopped
    2 15.5 oz. cans of kidney or cannelini beans (your choice or you can add both)
    4 Tbl. chili powder (add more to taste)
    Tabasco sauce for heat.


Cook stewing beef at medium in a skillet. Let sit so the juices stay in.

In another skillet cook ground beef and let sit until the chili is almost ready to serve.

Be sure to wash your hands to be sure not to cross contaminate.

Add whole canned tomatoes to a stewing pot and use your hands to squish the tomatoes to make the juice. Add onions and peppers and allow the chili to boil and cook until peppers are tender. Once boiling, add chili powder and hot sauce. Taste. Once you find your base has the amount of heat and spice you'd like, start adding the kidney beans, and the meat you reserved. Stir in and let simmer for an hour.
