    300g (1-1/2 cups) sugar
    60g (3/4 cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
    90g (3/4 cup) whole wheat flour
    30g (1/3 cup) ground flax seed
    83g (2/3 cup) oat bran
    1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1-1/3 cup buttermilk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 T. oil
    1 cup boiling water
    90g dark chocolate chips


In a bowl, combine all dry ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla, buttermilk and oil. Stir wet ingredients into dry until well mixed. Add boiling water and stir until well combined. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. They will sink to the bottom. Bake at 350 for 26 minutes or until done. Cut into 12 pieces.
