Number of Servings: 26


    Mix together and warm:
    1/4 C water
    3/4 C low fat cottage cheese
    3/4 C reduced fat sour cream
    3 Tbsp sugar
    3 Tbsp minced dried onion
    2 Tbsp dill seed
    1.5 Tbsp unsalted butter

    1 unbeaten egg
    3 1/3 C flour
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp salt

    1 pat unsalted butter


Warm the first seven ingredients and add to the bread maker pan. Add egg and then the dry ingredients, except for the yeast.
Make a small well in the dry ingredients and put in the yeast.
Select white bread and push "Start." (If loaf size is an option, this makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.)

When bread is baked, rub a pat of unsalted butter all over the outside and put plastic wrap over it while it cools. When cool, slice in half and cut each half into 13 slices.

Serving Size: Makes 2 loaves, 13 slices apiece
