Introduction

Slow cooker chicken, black beans, tomatoes, potatoes with garlic and spices. Slow cooker chicken, black beans, tomatoes, potatoes with garlic and spices.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, no skin, 3 units
    Beans, black, 2 cup
    Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 7 serving Diced Chilies, 4 serving
    Garlic, 8 tsp
    Potato, raw, 3 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)
    Onion powder, 1/2 tsp
    Allspice, 1/4 tsp
    Cumin seed, 1/4 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 dash

Directions

Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place chicken in bottom of pot.
Sprinkle chicken with onion powder, black pepper, Allspice and ground cumin seed.
Spread the minced garlic over the chicken.
Drain black beans and cover the chicken with them.
Pour in the tomatoes with juice over the black beans.
Wash/scrub the potatoes and dice into small pieces and sprinkle over the tomatoes.
Cover and set on Low for about 8 hours...

When serving, shred/chop the chicken pieces in order to make portions.
