This is a quick and sweet recipe for health conscious couples. This is a quick and sweet recipe for health conscious couples.
Number of Servings: 2


    2 Chicken Breasts 3-4oz.
    1/2 cup Apple Butter
    1/4 cup Water
    1 T. Honey
    1 T. Cinnamon
    1 Small Apple (optional)


Mix together the Apple Butter, Water, Honey, and Cinnamon. Place raw chicken breasts in mixture, coating both sides. Place chicken and mixture in fridge for two hours before cooking. (To cut back on time, just glaze and cook chicken without letting it set).

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place chicken on lightly greased cooking sheet, glaze once more with mixture. Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is done.

  • I omitted the honey and cinnamon (the apple butter I used already had plenty). I only used 2 T. of apple butter and white wine instead of water. I sprinkled a bit of sea salt on top when it was done cooking. Nothing mind-blowingly yummy, but a tasty healthy dish if you're craving something sweet! - 10/6/10
