Zucchini takes the place of the pasta. Zucchini takes the place of the pasta.
Number of Servings: 3


    2 zucchini, thinly sliced
    1 lb ground turkey
    1 jar spaghetti sauce
    Mozzarella (1 cup whole-milk used for nutritional information)


Saute onion and garlic in skillet, add ground turkey and italian seasoning. Thinly slice zucchini while turkey is cooking. Toss turkey with spaghetti sauce, reserving enough to cover top of dish. Beginning with zucchini, layer zucchini, turkey mixture, and mozzarella in square baking dish. Top with a final layer of spaghetti sauce and mozzarella. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes until warmed through and cheese is brown and bubbly.
