Introduction

Kid approved whole grain bread pudding! Can be made Vegan by using soy or rice milk. Kid approved whole grain bread pudding! Can be made Vegan by using soy or rice milk.

Ingredients

    *100% Whole Grain Bread, Dempster's Ancient Grains 1 Slice, 10 serving
    *Lactaid 2% Milk, 3 cup
    Banana, fresh, 2 small (6" to 6-7/8" long)
    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, .75 cup
    *Tapioca Starch, 1 tbsp

Directions

Pre heat oven to 350, rip up 6 cups of Whole Grain (I used Ancient grains) bread (about 10- 12 pieces) and place in bowl. Mix other ingriedients in a small bowl until well blended. Pour wet over bread and mix well - let soak untill oven is ready about 5 mins. spray an 8 or 9" square pan and pour mixture into this. Bake at 350 for about half an hour maybe a bit longer - untill brown and somewhat firm.

This has a nice consistancy, it it pudding like but not to runny.
Serve warm, but let it cool a few before serving so it keeps it's shape.
