Ingredients

Butter, unsalted, 1 cup
Flour, white, 2 1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp
Salt, 1/4 tsp
Walnuts, 3/4 cup, chopped
Confectioners Sugar, .50 cup
Directions
- PreHeat Oven to 400 degrees
- Mix butter at room temperature (it is ok to melt in microwave) with sugar and vanilla.
- Blend the dry ingredients Flour and Salt
- Stir the two mixtures together in a large bowl once all mixed so no more flour add the nuts.
- Press the dough into small 1 inch balls, remember that these are teacakes and should easily be able to fit in the mouth.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden brown ( do not over cook they will burn easily)!
- After removing from oven while still warm roll in confectioners sugar until coated well
- Let cool on wax paper , then roll again.
- This will make between 2 and 3 dozen cookies!
