Introduction

A low sugar take on the German favorite! A low sugar take on the German favorite!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 german sausages (kielbasa or bockwurst) - sliced
    1 small can sauerkraut
    2 med. apples - peeled, cored and chopped
    2 tbsp brown sugar
    splash of water

Directions

Simmer sauerkraut and apples in pan with water on med-low heat for 10 mins. Add brown sugar and sliced sausage and cook another 5 minutes until heated through. Serve with a dry riesling or robust german hefeweizen!
