    1/4 cup chopped green onions
    1/4 cup diced celery
    1/4 cup chopped green pepper
    2 tbsp butter
    3/4 cup stewed tomatoes, cut up
    1/4 cup water
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/2 tsp chicken bouillon
    1/8 tsp dried basil
    1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce
    1/4 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled & deveined
    1/3 cup cubed fully cooked ham


In a large saucepan, saute onions, celery, green pepper, and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in the tomatoes, water, tomato paste, sugar, bouillon, basil, and pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add shrimp and ham. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.

Serve over rice (not included in calculations).
