    100g Mushrooms, sliced
    2 medium Onions, thinly sliced
    2 tbsp Butter, salted
    1tbsp Olive oil
    1 dash Salt
    1 dash Black Pepper
    1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes, dried


Melt butter and oil in large frying pan. Add onions and cook until softened. Add mushrooms. Sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper.

Cook over a low heat, stirring occasionally until onions begin to caramelize.
the take about 45 mins but is well worth the time.

When done stir in crushed red pepper to taste or omit.
