    Baking soda
    Earth Balance

    Your choice of veggies (I used mushrooms, carrots, celery, and onion)
    6 cups worth of vegan substitute chicken broth
    Earth balance
    Your choice of vegan chicken substitute or flavored seitan.


Mix 2 cups of flour, baking soda, 2 tsp of earth balance, and add soy milk... stir till it's a lumpy, but firm consistency.

In a pot, use vegan chicken broth or vegetable broth in a soup pot. Add in 2 tbsp of earth balance and your choice of chicken substitute. Cut up your veggies and add it to the pot. Add in an additional cup of flour to thicken. When simmering, drop the dumplings in by the spoonfuls. Use a toothpick to determine if they are cooked all the way. Be careful that it doesn't burn. (Mine cooked for only 5 minutes at medium heat).

Serving Size: 6, 1 cup servings (2 dumplings a piece)
