Introduction

Ingredients

4 slices delightfully light Sara Lee wheat bread
filling:
1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese
2 oz fat free cream cheese
2 TBS. Splenda
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp orange peel
dip
1/4 cup egg substitute
1/3 cup skim milk (skim milk plus is best)
1 TB splenda
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp orange peel
Directions
Mix all of the filling ingredients together. set aside.
Spray a non-stick skillet or griddle and preheat at medium heat on burner.
Mix together all of the dip ingredients and pour into a shallow bowl.
Spread 2 slices of bread with filling (not all the way to the edges). Press the slices together and place carefully into the dip mixture (coat both sides well).
Brown each side of the french toast until golden, spray with non-fat margarine and top with your favorite toppings: Fresh fruit, sugar free jam or syrup, or raw honey. DELICIOUS. Makes 2 servings.
