Introduction

I needed to use up some of my progresso soup, so I thought I would give this a try. I needed to use up some of my progresso soup, so I thought I would give this a try.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 12 Oz fully cooked Package Johnsonville Chicken Sausage
    I can of Progresso Traditional Chicken and Sausage Gumbo (1lb 3oz)
    2 cups of Diced Tomatoes
    1/2 Onions
    White Rice, long grain, 3 cups cooked
    Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
    Red Pepper Flakes, 1/2 tsp
    Garlic, 1 clove minced
    Celery salt, 1 tsp
    Salt and pepper to taste.

Directions

Cut up the onion and garlic and saute till cooked. Cut up the tomatoes and sausage, set aside. In a slow cooker or crockpot add the soup, sausage, cooked onions, garlic, tomatoes, Oregano, Red Pepper Flakes and Celery salt. Turn on low and let cook 2-3 hours to let the flavors meld. When ready, poor over cooked white rice.
