Introduction

Sometimes when I want to maximize my protein in comparison to fat, I will use extra lean ground beef and turkey in my meatloaf. In the last recipe I neglected to show the seasonings. One serving of this meatloaf (4 oz) has about 28 grams of protein and only about 4 grams of fat. Ingredients

I knead the meat together until it is well mixed. I take the liquid eggs, pepper, onions and oatmeal and all of the spices and blend them in a blender. I take the resulting mixture and fold it into the beef/turkey mixture. Once it is all mixed well I place it in a glass dish and shape it into a loaf. This will make a huge amount of meatloaf. I use it for a week for a protein packed lunch with little fat or carbohydrates..

Directions

I bake it in the oven at 370-375 for about 1 hour. After an hour I take it out and put it to the side. I then mix the ketchup and jerk sauce (actually you can use any marinade) and using a brush, I brush it over the loaf. I then place it back in the oven for about 10 more minutes
