Introduction

Great low-carb turkey meatball to go with some Asiago Tomato Basil Sauce (Central Market brand from HEB is a great low-carb, low-sugar brand) and spaghetti squash. The seasonings are just what my family likes. Get creative and add your own! Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

20 oz Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 clove chopped fresh garlic (3 grams)
2 Tsp Italian Seasoning (or to your taste)
Milled Flax Seed (enough to roll the meatballs in)
    Pepper

Directions

Mix the ground turkey with the garlic and spices. Make meatballs with the mixture, roll each meatball in the flax seed mill, and place on a baking sheet. Bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes (or until cooked through).

My meatballs were slightly flat where they were sitting on the pan, so you might choose to roll them over half-way through the baking. (They still tasted great!)

Serving Size: 12 meatballs
