Introduction

Number of servings will vary depending on how big you make the cookies. I didn't measure how much cinnamon, ginger, or cloves I added, I just used this estimate: add twice as much ginger and cinnamon as cloves. Ingredients

    1.5 C. Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 C. Honey
    1 Tbsp. Egg Beaters
    1 Tbsp & 1 tsp. hot water
    1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/4 C. Butter
    Cinnamon
    Ground Ginger
    Ground Cloves

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, and ground cloves.
3. Pinch off butter in small pieces and add to flour.

4. Mix in honey, hot water, and egg beaters.

5. Form dough into a ball. Roll out and either cut into squares, or use cookie cutters.

6. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet about 1/2 inch apart. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

You may need to increase liquids to keep dough from getting too dry. If you have to do this, add a little of the egg beaters and the honey, as cookies are not very sweet anyway.

Serving Size: Makes 36 servings (using small acorn and maple leaf cookie cutters)

Number of Servings: 36
