    6-8 chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
    1 can of mushroom soup
    1 cup milk or half n half
    1 package of dry onion soup mix (half it)
    3/4 cups of rice
    1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
    dash of thyme and garnish with Parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 350
combine mushroom soup with milk and set half aside. Take one half and add the rice, garlic powder and 1/2 the onion soup mix. Pour into casserole pan.Add chicken on top of mix in pan. Space well. With other half of the soup add the rest of the onion mix and pour over chicken. Optional- you can also garnish with thyme and Parmesan cheese. Completely cover with foil and bake covered for 1 hour, then uncover and bake again for 20 to 25 min. until chicken is done.

Serving Size: makes 6 to 8 pieces
