    Onion, chopped
    3 celery stalks, chopped
    3 carrots peeled and chopped
    4 potatoes peeled and cut into bite size chunks
    16 oz lean stew beef
    1/2 tsp thyme
    2 bay leaves
    2 cups reduced sodium beef broth
    1 cup Lambrusco
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    3 tbsp cornstarch
    1/4 cup water


Chop onion, celery, carrots and potatoes. Add beef and vegetables to crock pot. Add thyme, bay leaves, beef broth, wine and pepper. Cook on high for 4 hours. When beef is tender add cornstarch and water together and then add to stew. Stir until thickened.

Serving Size: 6 1- cup servings
