Introduction

A family recipe... cajun Crock-pot dish... YUMM! A family recipe... cajun Crock-pot dish... YUMM!

Ingredients

    1 lb. Red Kidney or Pinto Beans
    1 lb. Polish or Echridge Sausage
    2.5 Tbs. Creole Seasoning
    1 Tbs. Worcestershire Sauce
    1 tsp. Chili Powder
    1/2 tsp. Cavenders Greek Season
    2 Tbs. Liquid Smoke
    1 tsp. Salt
    1 tsp. Black Pepper
    6 oz. Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice
    or
    6 oz. Kraft Minute Rice(white or brown)

Directions

Slice and brown sausage... In a crock-pot combine all ingredient except sausage and rice and cover with water.... allow beans to cook until tender (I put mine on in the morning and allow to slow cook all day, or you can put them on the night before if you'd like)... Once beans are done add sausage and rice... allow to simmer until rice is tender and juices are almost all soaked up... :)

Serving Size: Makes a crock-pot full and will feed MANY...
