Introduction

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 kg (2 lbs) ground beef, extra lean
    1 onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1/2 cup wheat germ
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp basil
    1 egg
    1 can (6 oz) tomato paste

Directions

Put hamburger in a large bowl and add everything but the tomato paste. Mash together with your hands. Add 1/2 the tomato paste. Finish mixing and place in a loaf pan or medium sized casserole dish. Spread remaining tomato paste on top. Bake at 350 F for approx. 90 minutes. Let cool, slice and serve!
