Ingredients
-
1/4 c mashed banana (very, very ripe banana)
1/4 c oat flour
1/4 c oats or other hot cereal
1 mini box raisins (or 1-2 TBSP)
1 TBSP chia seeds
*Optional Adds: cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, pumpkin pie spice, flax meal
Directions
Add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix to combine.
Mixture will be very wet. Use fingers to form balls. If mixture sticks to fingers, wet first with water.
Refridgerate to firm up. The oats/hot cereal flakes and chia seeds will firm and thicken the balls, even after they're out of the fridge.
The bananas should be very, very ripe when you mash them. I used my Magic Bullet to make banana liquid. They made the balls sweet enough that I didn't need to add any sweetner. The raisins help too ;-)
Serving Size: 6 medium sized balls
