    Beans, black, 1 cup (remove)
    Lentils, 1 cup (remove)
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 large whole (3" dia) (remove)
*Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, with green chilies, 1 cup (remove)
Yellow Bell Pepper, 1 serving equals 1.8 oz or about 10 strips, 1 serving (remove)
*Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup (remove)

For fresh (not canned) beans and lentils, extra cooking time may be required. It's not unrealistic to expect to pre-cook the rice, black beans, and the lentils beforehand. Crock pot is AMAZING for this. After cutting or chopping the fresh tomatoes to your desired size and shape, toss them into a large stock pot or dutch oven. Start off on low heat as you start to add all the other ingredients. Cook until the tomatoes are the desired consistency (about 60 minutes) on medium heat. You may turn down to a simmer once everything's come to a bit of a boil. Experiment and enjoy.
