Introduction
This is a salsa that has more pepper and onion than tomato, and great spice. You can adjust the heat by adjusting the jalapeno and cilantro. Quick to make, improves with refrigeration. Great as a salad dressing mixed with fat free sour cream. This is a salsa that has more pepper and onion than tomato, and great spice. You can adjust the heat by adjusting the jalapeno and cilantro. Ingredients
-
3 large tomatoes, diced
1 green pepper, chopped
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped - wear gloves!
1/2 c. red onion, chopped
1 tbsp. minced fresh cilantro
2 tsp. lime juice, I use juice of half a lime
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate. If you like alot of heat, add the jalapeno seeds along with the diced jalapeno. If you don't like the strong taste of cilantro, use less, and taste as you add more. Remember, the flavors blend as the salsa sits, but the heat will stay the same. This is an awesome blend of flavors and easy to make!
