    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    3/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
    3.5 cups tomato sauce
    3 cups water
    1 cup (dry) white rice
    1/2 - 1 cup diced onion


Preheat oven to 450. Spray a 13 X 9 inch casserole dish with cooking spray. In a large pan, saute ground beef, onion, cabbage, and rice if not using instant until beef is browned and onion and cabbage are slightly softened. Put mixture into the prepared casserole dish. In same pan used for beef/cabbage mixture, mix tomato sauce and water and heat just to boiling. Pour over mixture in casserole dish. Cover dish with foil. Bake covered for 50 minutes. Remove foil and stir. Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes.
