This is not a sweet oatmeal recipe. Only the rasins add a touch of sweetness. This is not a sweet oatmeal recipe. Only the rasins add a touch of sweetness.
Number of Servings: 1


    3/4 cup Water
    1 dash salt
    1/4 cup Pumpkin, canned, without salt,
    2 tspPumpkin Pie spice,
    1 tsp Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread, .
    1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal- Plain
    1/4 cup rasins,


Add water, dash of salt, pumpkin, "butter", and spice to a small pan with a lid. Bring to a boil, uncovered then add dry oatmeal and rasins. Simmer, with lid, stirring frequently for 5 min.
If oatmeal is too thick. add a splash of almond milk.
This is NOT a sweet recipe. I am trying to cut back on my sugar intake, therefor I omited sugar.
