Introduction

Delicious baked apples. Perfect for a snack or dessert during crisp Autumn nights! Delicious baked apples. Perfect for a snack or dessert during crisp Autumn nights!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 apples - cut in half and cored
    4 tbsp instant oats
    2 tbsp margarine
    2 tbsp Brown sugar
    sprinkle of cinnamon

    optional; raisins and walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350
Place cut and cored apples on a baking sheet, sliced side up.
Mix remaining ingredients (except cinnamon) and place 1/4 of the mixture on each apple.
sprinkle the cinnamon on each apple half.
Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
Remove from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes prior to serving.

Serving Size: one half of an apple with 1/4 topping
