Introduction

Craving a donut, or maybe a muffin? Have them both! Great for breakfast, or as a dessert. Either way, it's not easy on the thighs. So let this be a real treat. Craving a donut, or maybe a muffin? Have them both! Great for breakfast, or as a dessert. Either way, it's not easy on the thighs. So let this be a real treat.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Muffin:
    1 C flour
    1/2 C white sugar
    1/4 C margarine, melted
    3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 C nonfat milk
    1 tsp baking powder

    Topping:
    1/4 C margarine, melted
    1/2 C white sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Grease pan. Mix 1/2 C sugar, 1/4 C margarine, & nutmeg in a bowl. Stir in milk, then mix in flour and baking powder until JUST COMBINED. You WANT the mix to be lumpy. Fill tins half full (they will have large tops when finished). In 2 small seperate bowls mix 1/2 cup sugar & cinnamon in one, and melted margarine in other. Dip tops into margarine then roll around in sugar/cinnamon mix. Enjoy.

Serving Size: Makes 6 Muffins (or 12 mini muffins)
