Introduction

This is my most favorite soup. It is very creamy without adding any cream at all. This is my most favorite soup. It is very creamy without adding any cream at all.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Beans, black, 2 cup cooked
    Salsa, 1 cup
    Garlic, 2 cloves
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp
Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    Jalapeno 1/4 cup pickled
    cilantro 1/4 cup chopped
    salt -1teaspoon

Tips

I use pickled jalapeno but if it's not available then you can roast fresh jalapeno and chop and add to the soup.
Also I soak and cook my bean in a pressure cooker. If that doesn't work , you can use can beans. Just use less salt or no salt at all.
You can use any salsa you like, I normally use medium store bought or sometimes I roast all the salsa ingredients in an iron skillet and then process it with beans. This taste much better then adding readymade salsa.

Directions

.In a food processor add garlic and pickled jalapenos and pulse to chop them. Add cooked beans and salsa and process until smooth. Add water from the cooked beans as needed. If all the water is used from the beans then add more tap water.
Transfer soup to a saucepan and add salt and bring it to a boil .
Add cilantro and ground cumin and serve with tortilla chips and little shredded cheese on top.
Soup taste good without chips and cheese too.

Serving Size: makes about 5 about 1 cup servings.
