Introduction

Very simple meatloaf recipe. You can cut calories a little by changing the eggs. Use 3 or 4 egg whites, instead of 2 whole eggs. You can also use leaner ground beef (extra lean), which will cut more calories. Very simple meatloaf recipe. You can cut calories a little by changing the eggs. Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef (chuck)
1 c. Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal
1/2 c. Bread crumbs (dry, plain)
Lipton Onion Soup Mix (1 pkg.; dry)
1 can (8 oz.) Tomato sauce
2 Large Eggs (** You can substitute 3 or 4 egg whites)

Tips

This goes great with any type of vegetable. My family loves to have it with either sweet peas, green beans, or sometimes garlic mashed potatoes.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together all the ingredients.
Spray loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Shape into loaf shape & place in loaf pan.
Bake 35-45 minutes.

We don't put cheese or ketchup on the top of ours, so if you add those, you will need to adjust the calories, etc.

Serving Size: Makes 4 - 4 oz. servings
