    2 medium bananas, mashed
    2 large eggs
    3/4 cup unpacked brown sugar
    1/2 cup milk
    3 cups whole wheat flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 cup chocolate chips


Mash bananas in a mixing bowl then add eggs, brown sugar and milk. Sift dry ingredients together and add to wet ingredients. Stir until mixed. Add chocolate chips and fold into batter. This batter should be fairly thick to keep the chips from sinking but should still be pourable so add a bit more milk if needed. Pour into a greased 9X5 loaf pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Serves 16.
