I prefer chunky guacamole but if you like yours smoother try placing all ingredients in a food processor. Enjoy!


Peel the avocado and remove the pit.

Set the pit aside if you'd like to use it as part of the garnish. I've been told the pit also preserves the freshness but don't quote me on it.

Cut the avocado in nice sized chunks in a mixing bowl.
Add chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper.
Mix with a fork until you get the consistency you prefer.
