Ingredients

    .5 cup Split Moong Dal beans
    .5 cup lentils
    .5 red beans
    .5 cup white beans
    .5 cup pinto beans
    1 cup Pomi strained tomato
    1 cup chicken broth (low sodium)
    1.5 Tsp Ras el Hanout spice
    1/3 tsp cardamom ,ground
    .5 tsp cumin powder
    1 tsp Herbs de Provance
    1 large carrot chopped
    3 garlic cloves chopped
    1 celery stalk chopped
    1 onion chopped
    1 cup chopped Cabbage
    4 cups water
    .5 tsp black pepper

Tips

instead of Ras el Hanout spice you can use chili spice


Directions

soak beans and lentils in water overnight ,rinse well.
add water ,tomato,chicken broth to a large pot,bring to a boil, add the lentils, beans vegetables and spices,
let simmer until beans are soft.Circa 2 hours.
Add more spices as needed.

Serving Size: serves 6 at 1.5 cups each.
