French Toast (Fluffy)
1 cup milk
1 pinch salt
8 egg whites (or 4whites and 1/2c 99% egg)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon stevia
14 thick slices bread
For an extra twist use pumpkin bread! My mom loves pumpkin bread but she made too much for christmas, so this was a great way to use it up. (Look at my recipe for pumpkin bread if you want a nice light and healthy one :D)
Also light soymilk adds flavor and lightens up the calories! (Vanilla soy that is)
for added spice: add 1pinch cloves & pumpkin pie spice
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated. Cook bread on each side until golden brown. Serve hot.
